ePubs - Enhanced digital publications
The IFRS Foundation is launching ePubs, a new digital format for accessing IFRS Accounting Standards. These enhanced publications offer features like note-taking, highlighting, mobile-optimised viewing, offline access, advanced navigation, and environmental benefits. The first releases will include standards issued and required as of 1 January 2025, as well as the Third Edition of the IFRS for SMEs Accounting Standard (including a Spanish version).
This marks a shift from PDFs and printed volumes to fully digital access, with ePubs becoming the primary format by 2026. Bound volumes will only remain for annotated versions.
