EU Parliament rejects JURI proposal on sustainability reporting and due diligence laws
On 22 October 2025, the European Parliament rejected a proposed compromise text on the Omnibus I package, which had been approved by a committee earlier this month. The file will return to negotiations at the next Parliamentary plenary on 13 November 2025, rather than proceeding to trilogue discussions immediately.
