ISSB to advance nature-related disclosure standards using TNFD framework
The International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) plans to introduce disclosure requirements on nature-related risks and opportunities, drawing on the Taskforce for Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) framework.
TNFD will finish its current technical work by Q3 2026 and pause further technical guidance work.
ISSB aims to release an Exposure Draft on incremental disclosure requirements by the Convention on Biological Diversity COP17 in October 2026.
